Meningen van critici

Bettane & Desseauve:

Jolis arômes floraux, beaucoup d’élégance et de précision à la naissance, c’est un parfait vin d’initiation au Médoc.

Decanter:

Dark blackcurrant and soft herbal tones on the nose. Vivid purple colour in the glass. Succulent and cool, this has a graceful palate - it’s light-footed for Belgrave, leaning into the vintage, so it’s relatively lean but there’s purity and clarity and a cool aspect. Some salty stones. Fresh - this will be very drinkable once in a bottle. Just a light touch where they really didn't try and do anything that nature didn’t provide. A touch of sweet juicy blueberries on the mid palate and chalky tones on the finish. I like it. Tasted twice.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Smoky red and black fruits, classy oak, and violet notes all emerge from the 2024 Château Belgrave. This medium-bodied, round, supple, balanced effort has sweet tannins and is an impeccably made wine. An absolutely brilliant effort by this Haut-Médoc château.

James Suckling:

Good depth here, showing tapenade, some very fresh dark currants, paprika and minty black cherries. Medium- to full-bodied with structured, granular tannins and a powerful but juicy finish. 64% cabernet sauvignon and 36% merlot.

Vinous:

The 2024 Belgrave has a light, savory bouquet with blackberry mixed with mocha scents and a touch of mint. The palate is fresh, nicely composed and quite saline, with crisp tannins and moderate length. At least there is a sense of vigor and brightness in this Haut-Médoc.
