Recensioni degli esperti
On the nose, this is full of fresh blue plums, mulberries, violets and baking spices. Medium-bodied, textured and fine-grained, showing some firm, chalky tannins. The juicy, flavorful finish has spot-on balance and solid length. A good, not-overdone example of this lighter vintage. 52% cabernet sauvignon and 48% merlot.
The 2024 La Sirène de Giscours has a tightly wound bouquet that unwinds with aeration. Well-defined touches of blackberry, bilberry and violet unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid black fruit and modest weight. This is a little short on the finish but there is sufficient freshness that should ensure it drinks well for several years. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot, the 2024 La Sirène de Giscours offers up notes of minty berries and cherries followed by a medium-bodied, supple and seamless palate.
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Delicate nuances of raspberry, red cherry, tobacco notes, currant and mandarin zest. Slender, somewhat loosely knit, red forest berries, mineral-salty finish, lemony aftertaste, accessible, fresh wine.
Smells lightly floral with rose petal and milk chocolate accents. Red and black cherries and plums - creamy and cool. Quite high toned fruit, vibrant and lively, with piercing acidity but well balanced with chalky tannins that fill the mouth. Friendly and approachable. Lovely mint, mineral liquorice and wet stone bite on the finish. With a bit more harmony this will be great. A touch dry on the finish but more mineral than wood. There’s some succulence which I really like. Sweet and just ripe strawberry. Ageing 30% new oak barrels. 3.64pH.
