O Chao 2022

One of the more vertical wines in the Valdesil range, this is Godello (planted in 1941) grown on granitic soils which clearly bring lots of energy and drive. It is not an overtly fruity wine but rather, displays intense minerality with marked petrichor aromas and some wild herbal notes. The palate is creamy and generous enough but it’s the vibrant texture and lively acidity which create an elegant and fine wine.
