James Suckling:

This is defined by the steely and spicy edges to the aromas and flavors of chalky black cherries, violets and blackberries. Firm, dusty tannins coat the medium- to full-bodied palate, with mineral tension at the end. Drink or hold. Zekun Shuai - Senior Editor.

Tim Atkin:

Telmo Rodríguez uses grapes from six different growers in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of the largest villages in the Rioja Alta in terms of area under vine. Floral, graceful and subtly oaked, it marries aromas of violet and orange zest with a palate of plum and blackberry fruit. Textbook stuff. 2024-30

The Wine Advocate:

One of the two wines first produced in 2010 in this project, the 2021 Viñedos de San Vicente de la Sonsierra was produced with grapes from three families, a total of 4.2 hectares. It is fruit-driven and has a sense of high ripeness despite the 13.7% alcohol, with some earthy sensations, giving it a rustic twist and dusty tannins. 75,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023. - Luis Gutiérrez.
