I also tasted the 2020 Sortevera Blanco, which, at 12.5%, was a full 1% less in alcohol than the 2019, and it has a low pH of 3.05 and close to seven grams of acidity. It's from one single 500-liter oak barrel, where the wine fermented and matured for 10 months. This is sold without appellation of origin. There is a lot more finesse here and a jump in quality from the previous vintage; there is more contained ripeness, and it's a more vibrant, fresher and more defined wine. 650 bottles were filled in August 2021.
