Penfolds Koonunga Hill 76 2012

"Made of 76% Shiraz and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 10% new oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2012 Koonunga Hill 76 Shiraz Cabernet reveals quite a serious nose of blackberries and cassis with touches of anise, underbrush and tree bark plus a hint of cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied and delivering a good, solid core of muscular fruit on the palate, it is framed by medium level, grainy tannins and finishes long with nice balance. Though still very youthful, it is delicious now. Drink it now to 2020+".
