The Wine Advocate:
The 2014 Field Blend comprises of 60% Shiraz, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Carignan and 15% Cinsault that matured in a 3,000-liter foudre. The nose is an instant hit: beautifully defined with mulberry and red plum scents, undergrowth and morels. The palate is very well balanced with very well judged acidity, lovely brambly black fruit building towards a very precise and detailed finish. Brimming with tension and focus, do not ignore this gorgeous Rhône blend.
