Clearly extracted very gently in the name of promoting fruit and accessibility, this is a highly aromatic wine, mid-weighted and blaring cabernet sauvignon’s creme de cassis sweetness, as much as its green underbelly of mint and tomato leaf. I love the aromas, the waft of gentle tannins and the feel of insouciant drinkability. At the price, this is stellar, if not unbeatable. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
