Tim Atkin:

Cemento, as its name suggests, sees no wood at all, just cement tanks. Sourced from two parcels in Ollauri and Rodezno, it's a compact, dense, age-worthy Tempranill  that's bursting with bramble and blackberry fruit, with black tea tannins and a twist of tobacco leaf. 2024-30.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Cemento, the fourth vintage of the young, juicy and fruit-driven red, fermented and matured for 28 months in concrete ("cemento" means "concrete" in Spanish) and had gentle extraction, keeping the fruit and liveliness. It has a developed and complex nose, with elegance and personality, some reminiscences of a red from the Northern Rhône, meaty, with notes of decayed leaves, truffle and forest floor. It's juicy and ripe without excess at 14% alcohol and has a medium body, textured and with very fine tannins. It's very tasty and finishes with high-pitched notes. 15,000 bottles were produced in February 2024. - Luis Gutiérrez.
