Unwooded, the 2020 Original Chenin Blanc begins with a bright, classic and expressive nose with elements of apple and quince paste, lime candy, yellow apples, pineapple and hints of wax melon. Medium-bodied, the wine bursts with bright acidity on the palate—making it perfect for fresh seafood, salads and hard cheeses—before somersaulting to a long, lingering finish with a kiss of phenolic bitterness. Bravo, this is delicious.
