The Wine Advocate:

The unfortified white 2022 Mirabrás was produced in the traditional style of sun drying the grapes and fermenting in bota, so it combines the biological, limestone and old bota character. It was produced with Palomino from an inland vineyard, Cerro de Leyes in Pago Santa Lucía, from 49-year-old vines on albariza soils. The wine matured in botas and tanks for 18 months, but for the last six months, the barrels were not topped up and were moved to a winery in Sanlúcar; so, it's the only one of their unfortified whites that has flor. It has 13.5% alcohol and a low pH of 3.2, denoting freshness and balance. It has a golden color and a very expressive and beautiful nose, complex and herbal, with notes of esparto grass and spice that are amplified with time in the bottle. It has a very pretty palate, with volume but without weight or fat. 2,406 bottles were produced from three hectares. This is the last vintage for this wine, because the vineyard was sold and ripped up. They looked for another plot closer to the sea and will resume production of this wine in 2024.
