"We couldn’t make a classic Ribera del Duero here, even if we wanted to," says César Maté of this 0.2-hectare parcel in Tubilla del Lago, which may be as much as 200 years' old. Peppery, chalky and intense, this is a remarkable blend of Tinto Fino and 5% Albillo Mayor, with the structure, intensity and focus to support ageing in new 500-litre barrels. Focused, mineral and herbal, with tangerine, black cherry and raspberry fruit and fine-grained tannins. 2025-35

Demasiado caro para lo que hay en botella, le falta boca y aromas, aunque tiene corneta elegancia, le falta materia
