This Mencía offers a huge amount of wine for the price and is somewhat of a crowd pleaser. Vibrant floral notes and bright red cherry make for a lively and pretty nose. The wine spends just a short time in oak which brings a little woody spice and balsamic character. There’s just enough grip and structure to make this an impressive and satisfying mid-week red. 2024-26
