James Suckling:

Lots of red cherries, minerals and spiced berries. Medium-bodied with some stony tannins that are slightly chewy. Tight and juicy in the finish. 66% merlot, 17% cabernet sauvignon, 14% petit verdot and 3% cabernet franc.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Darker cherries, mulberries, spicy wood, and graphite notes define 2024 Château Lilian Ladouys. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced on the palate, it has fine tannins and solid length. This could easily be an outstanding wine.

Tim Atkin:

Closed and spicy earthy aromas of black fruit with plums and damson. Rich and fresh in the mouth, fine tannins, no greenness and fresh acidity. Much more Merlot than usual, and the Petit Verdot really worked in St Estèphe, albeit that this is the appellation where that can most be said.

Vinous:

The 2024 Lilian Ladouys is a very pretty, mid-weight Saint-Estèphe. Floral and savory notes open first, leading to a core of red berry fruit. Lithe and elegant, with fine balance, Lilian Ladouys is quite the charmer. There's just a bit of tightness on the finish, but élevage should take care of that. Tasted two times. - Antonio Galloni.
