Profumo
Al naso è super aromatico e ti dà tutta l'espressività del Rufete. Aromi floreali delicati.
Bocca
Di corpo medio, palato fine, con grande freschezza ed equilibrio e tannini vellutati.

Si consiglia di servire tra i 12 e i 14 °C.

Vinificazione
Fermentazione con lieviti autoctoni in un piccolo serbatoio, a contatto con le bucce per tre settimane, e poi in botti di rovere francese usate da 300 litri.
Invecchiamento
Affinamento per 10 mesi in vecchie botti di rovere francese da 300 litri.

The red Rufete 2019 Renvivas comes from 0.5 hectares planted 80 years ago with Rufete and a little Rufete Blanco in the middle of an arbustus tree (madroño) forest. It feels very balsamic, with tons of aromatic herbs and spices. This is less fruit-driven, spicier and herbal, with a hint of oak, even if the barrels are third and fourth use. It's medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and very tasty flavors in the finish. 1,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2021.

My pick of the Viñas Serranas range, this is a cuvée of Rufete and 15% Rufete Blanco, sourced from an isolated 0.5-hectare parcel planted in 1904. Enticing aromas of mint and violet lead you into a palate of raspberry, pomegranate and white pepper framed by understated oak and f ine-grained tannins. 2025 - 203
