The Wine Advocate:

I tasted again the 2021 Finca A Ponte, which has developed an herbal, high-pitched note on the nose and less sensation of ripeness than last year. The vineyard that gives the wine its name was planted in 2010 with equal parts of Mencía, Caíño Redondo, Caíño Longo, Sousón, Brancellao and Merenzao. It matured in used 500-liter French oak barrels for one year. 5,000 bottles were filled in August 2023. (Luis Gutiérrez)

James Suckling:

An expressive yet delicate nose with floral aromas and a ripe red fruit profile. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit and a nervy texture. This vineyard was planted with a blend of traditional varieties, looking to emulate blends that were popular years ago. Drink now.
