James Suckling:

A fine, place-oriented Rioja with roasted spices and rich but fresh blue fruit. Fine-grained tannins melt away in a long finish loaded with fruit. A little fuller and more structured than the tense 2021. Drink or hold.

Vineyards between 580 and 620 metres in the leading Rioja Alavesa village of Samaniego supply the raw material for this bush vine Tempranillo-based cuvée from Masters of Wine Sam Harrop and Andreas Kubach.
