Baigorri Finca la Canoca 2022

La Canoca is widely recognised as one of the best vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, shared among a number of growers and bodegas. The new French oak is quite assertive here, but there's more than enough structure and concentration to cope. A complex and serious nose with wild berries, plums, grilled herbs and slate on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate with a full mouthful of fine, dusty tannins that dissolve into the spiced blue fruit. Mealy and long. Tempranillo.
