The Javier Ruiz family harvest grapes for this wine from their La Cañada parcel, in Villanueva de Duero, which is particularly rocky and sandy. The resulting wine is not so fruity but marked by very prominent minerality. It shows off the purity of the vineyard with fermentation solely in stainless steel tanks but three months on lees does add some weight and intensity. A flinty fresh finish. 2024-27.
