The 2014 Colección Nº 3 El Chozo Del Bombón is pure Tempranillo from a 50-year-old vineyard on brown limestone soils, fermented and aged in small oak vats with indigenous yeasts followed by 18 months in brand new French barriques. It smells of fine Belgian chocolate, noble woods, ripe berries and fine spices. The palate is medium-bodied with abundant, fine-grained, slightly dusty and chalky tannins and very good balance. 3,000 bottles were filled in May 2016.
