The brilliant Ricardo Velasco makes this varietal Tinto Fino with grapes from a 25-year-old parcel called Valdelobas, located high on the páramo of Piñel de Arriba. Aged in 20% new wood, it's one of the freshest and most refined reds in the denominación de origen, all violet, dill and oregano on the nose, complemented by a palate of cassis, capsicum and fine-rained tannins. 2024-30
