The young and fruit-driven 2022 El Pedal was produced with Tempranillo from different villages, including younger vines from La Emperatriz. It fermented in stainless steel, and 50% of the wine matured in 500-liter barrels and the rest in concrete for six months. It has a contained 13.7% alcohol and mellow acidity, reflecting a Mediterranean year. It's grapey and juicy, ripe and round, with a medium-bodied palate, some tannins, approachable and easy to drink. 75,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023.
Notes of ripe cherries and mulberries with hints of spices, cocoa and caramel on the nose. Medium- to full-boded with intense fruit character, grainy tannins and tart acidity. A little firm at the end. Drink now.

No te deja indiferente
Fantástico rioja, frutal, maduro, mineral. Tanino maduro, granuloso, peso de fruta, sabroso.
Buena relación calidad precio
Estupendo
En una cata a ciegas no hubiera dicho que era un Rioja. Vino sin ningún punto a criticar, pero no me ha gustado.
Esperaba mas por el precio
Un vino limpio, honesto, de los que pasan desapercibidos para bien.
