A complex, muscular and evolved style with notes of leather, sandalwood, cigar and cranberry, pronounced ripe, drying tannins and a long, complex, savoury finish.

Described by Sergio Ávila as a "perfect year", 2018 was indeed special in Ribera del Duero. Using Tinto Fino grapes from three parcels on sand and clay, Fuentelun is a Ribera del Duero with a mild French accent, showing coffee bean aromas from one-third new wood, glossy tannins, flavours of cassis and tobacco leaf and a hint of subtle, meaty reduction. 2024-32
