Algueira Finca Cortezada 2024

The very young white 2024 Cortezada is one of their single-vineyard wines made with Godello, Albariño and Treixadura from a plot planted 25 years ago on gneiss, quartz and slate soils in an amphitheater with impressive terraces and walls. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was bottled unoaked. It comes in at 13% alcohol, with a pH of 3.2 and six grams of acidity. It's extremely young and a little reductive, a wine that needs a little bit of time in the bottle. The palate shows the vibrant profile of the year for whites, lively and balanced, very clean. 5,521 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2025.
