Already in bottle, the 2015 Cairanne la Font du Jas comes from parcels just over the western edge of Rasteau, yet offers a completely different style than Perrot's Rasteau releases. Beautifully aromatic, with classic Provencal notes of lavender, garrigue, flowers and sweet black raspberry and strawberry fruits, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, no hard edges and a light, graceful texture. It's not massive, yet shines for its purity and finesse.
