Any wine with Velázquez's Las Meninas - my favourite painting - on the label is alright by me. This is the bodega's top wine and very impressive it is too. Sourced from Fuenmayor, Laguardia and Lapuebla, it's a stylish, nuanced Tempranillo that's aged in new French oak, showing coffee bean, blackberry and violet notes, glossy tannins and the freshness and structure to age. 2024-30
