One of the later, cooler vintages In Rías Baixas, 2021 was a demanding year in the vineyard and winery. Lees aged for seven months, this Val do Salnés Albariño is crisp, chiselled and built to last, showing petrichor and sea breeze aromas, pear and waxed lemon flavours and a balanced finish. 2024-28
This is citric with grapefruit character. Nervy and angular, it’s saline with a clean, focused, lightly astringent finish. As its name mentions, this is aged on the lees. Fermented and aged in vat with regular batonnage. Drink now.
