Wine Enthusiast:

A wonderfully pure Champagne that is taut with a mineral edge. It is still a young wine that shows apple and acidity in balanced proportions. Drink from 2024.

James Suckling:

What a wonderfully enticing nose that marries white flower aromas with ripe pear and just a touch of toasted baguette. Stunning elegance on the beautifully proportioned palate, the racy and mineral acidity driving the graceful and precise finish off into the distance. Just a touch of ginger there. Very fine mousse. Drink or hold.

Decanter:

Deutz's vintage blanc de blancs has turned out well in 2018, with the vintage's sunny generosity producing a wine of ease and grace. Nectarine, apricot kernel and sweet yellow grapefruit flavours are carried on a palate that is bright, crisp and silky. It's plush through the middle, with pear juiciness and a little ground-almond richness, yet with enough zip to retain refreshment value. The majority of the fruit is from the Côte des Blancs.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Blanc de Blancs from Champagne Deutz reveals a delicate, fresh bouquet with aromas of menthol, green apple, herbs and spring flowers, followed by a medium-bodied palate that is ripe and textural with a somewhat high-level dosage.
