Campo Eliseo Toro 2015

Very impressive polish and depth to this highly tuned wine. Ample, rich dark berries and a ripe-plum core fully soak the palate in flavor. Tar and coffee, too. Smoothly refined and long tannins sit ripe and suave. Lots of wood, but it shows complexity and beauty. Drink now, but it’s going to be even better in 2022 and onwards.

Deep garnet to the eye, this wine has a bouquet of black currant, plum and dark chocolate. It fills the mouth with flavors of blackberry, strawberry, violet, toffee and holiday baking spices set among opulent tannins. Spice notes are diminished by the return of bright fruit on the close.
