Avaliação dos especialistas

Decanter:

Dark fruit and savoury herbal aspects on the nose. A little sharp and tangy, just on the verge of ripeness with a zesty, almost austere texture to the tannins. Salty, wet stone nuances on the finish give a contrast to the fruit but this is all about the acidity which is a little upfront at the moment. Still, there's a mouthwatering quality and tons of energy here.

James Suckling:

There is something quite lactic here that reminds me of salted caramels and a hint of goat cheese. The fruit is solid, showing decent concentration from this lighter vintage. Fleshy and round with medium to full body and a juicy, medium-long finish.

Falstaff:

Dark ruby-garnet colour, opaque core, violet reflections, broad rim brightening. A hint of plums, red berry confit, some nougat, inviting bouquet. Juicy, fine fruit sweetness, integrated acid structure, mineral, already well developed, a versatile companion at the table.

Jeb Dunnuck:

The 2024 Couvent Des Jacobins reveals meaty black cherries, leather, iron, and spicy notes on the nose. Nicely concentrated and medium-bodied on the palate, it has ripe, polished tannins and plenty of mid-palate depth, with a rock-solid personality. Tasted twice.
