Silver-green in colour, with still-youthful aromas of green plum, fresh grape and mossy wells; there's just a whisper of honey. The aromas are harmonious but under-stated at present, and will certainly blossom with a year or two's more age. On the palate, this dry Savennieres has great length and breadth of flavour: Chenin Blanc at is most structured, vinous and chewy. It's perfectly balanced and poised: a fine choice for those who love to cellar the wines of this grand yet enigmatic appellation. 2018-2028.
