L'avis des experts

Bettane & Desseauve:

Nez frais et intense, profil mûr et frais, en bouche avec une texture crémeuse qui lui donne beaucoup de charme.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Based on 90% Merlot, 5% each of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, the 2024 Virginie De Valandraud reveals ripe black cherries, crunchy red and black fruits, and chocolate notes. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows a round, supple texture, ample character, and outstanding balance.

Decanter:

Intense aromatics, perfumed florals, dark chocolate, vanilla and exotic spices. Crisp and compact, this is clean and straight, fine tannins and pure fruit, meet quite a firm structure. This has muscles with underlying power while the fruit flavours slowing grow. Darkly seductive, well produced and delivered. Something very classy about this wine. Chewy on the end, bright but focussed. Easy drinkability here. 100% new wood but you can't taste it. Ends fresh. Glamorous but full of energy too! I like this. 40hl/ha. Clay limestone and gravels. 3.6pH. Sept 20-5 October.

James Suckling:

Excellent depth and complexity from this vintage. Plenty of silky tannins with violets, fresh blackberries and a tight, lengthy finish. Deep, juicy fruit.
