The Wine Advocate:
The 2020 Dolomitas was produced with old-vine Monastrell from dry-farmed vines on very shallow soils. The wine comes through as more concentrated, powerful and tannic, finishing with a dry sensation. This needs time and/or powerful food. This fermented with 25% full clusters, and they also used some used 700-liter oak barrels for the aging, complementing the concrete vats and clay tinajas. There is a spicy twist from the oak. 11,250 bottles were filled in December 2021.
