L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Attractively briny nose with some cooked lemons, hot stone minerals, yeast, juniper and a hint of bread crust and almonds. Full-bodied yet bright and slightly phenolic on the palate with excellent freshness and power. Transparent, dry and saline in the finish. Delicious and super drinkable. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The new white 2021 Chenin Blanc comes from Los Árboles on deep soils with calcium carbonate and red clay. The vines are almost 50 years old and planted in a parral (pergola). The clusters were pressed and fermented quite quickly, racked and kept in small stainless steel tanks at low temperature to let it clarify, and it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. It's a bit cloudy and has a faintly reductive character; it's still very young and primary, floral, with low alcohol (11.5%) with precision, medium-bodied and with a sharp palate and a completely dry finish that's very tasty, almost salty. 11,000 bottles.
