Kist 'Viña Pedrosa Reserva' 2020 (x2) met 'Riedel'-glazen (x2)

There are some notes of candied fruit in the 2020 Viña Pedrosa Reserva, reflecting a warmer year despite the very similar parameters, the 14.6% alcohol and pH of 3.5. It is faintly riper, with notes of cigar ash and incense, sweet spices and cedar wood. The palate is round and voluptuous, with fine-grained tannins. This matured in French and American oak barrels for 24 months. 67,620 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2023.. - Luis Gutiérrez. 

It's almost a crime to open a wine like this Reserva in it youth, such is its concentration and ageing potential, so keep your hands off the nearest corkscrew. Made with Tinto Fino from the Finca Prado El Carril at 843 metres, it has amazing concentration, energy and intensity, with blackcurrant, blueberry and damson flavours, lots of spicy French and American oak and a core of tannins. 2026-35
