Descripción

Tesch Krone es un Riesling Qualitätswein trocken muy expresivo y afrutado pleno de complejidad. Las fuertes fluctuaciones de temperatura le dan al vino un temperamento robusto con un pronunciado aroma cítrico. Las viñas están ubicadas en la zona de Laubenheimer Krone, vecina de Löhrer Berg, pero a pesar de la proximidad, las condiciones son diferentes. Estos viñedos pertenecieron a la abolida realeza de la zona, de ahí su nombre.

Descripción
Viñedos que sufren estrés hídrico para que den menos fruto y este sea de mucha más calidad. Están plantados en laderas empinadas orientadas al sureste. Vides expuestas al viento del oeste.

De arcilla y arenisca roja.

Temperaturas oscilantes entre el día y la noche.

Vendimia manual.

Elaborado en depósitos de acero inoxidable.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Riesling Krone opens with classic Tesch nose: very clear, precise and elegant, with fine but not exuberant citrus fruit and Golden Delicious apple aromas over a fine mineral background. Pure, piquant and immediately salty on the palate, this is a stringent and finely racy Krone with grip, tension and noble bitters on the finish. Possibly one of the most "Tesch" Rieslings of the 2020 single-vineyard collection. The finish is long, pure, dense and stimulating. Excellent. 12.5% alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in September 2021. - Stephan Reindhardt.

Really quite rich on the nose with apparently softer acidity than some other bottlings. Already broad and quite charming but with enough texture on the finish to keep it interesting.
