The Wine Advocate:

The 2014 Manzanilla Macharnudo Soleras de Almacenista shows the character of the place, and even though it's matured in Sanlúcar, it has the character of the soil that shapes the behavior of the flor and the resulting wine. The quality level of these three wines is very similar, and the character is faithful to the place, more about the origin than the place where the wine matures. It has a very dry, chalky palate. The most interesting thing is to taste the three of them next to each other and see how the place has a clear influence in the resulting wine. And the Blanco brothers are capable of making it happen. Bravo!
