The Wine Advocate (Oc. 2012):
"The 2010 Usaran is a blend of 75% Garnacha, 15% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. It has glossy, ripe, dark cherry and cassis fruit on the nose with pronounced vanillary oak. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins. There is patently impressive weight of fruit allied with quite a stern structure, yet the finish is just a little mealy in the mouth. This should coalesce once the wine is in bottle. Drink 2013-2019"

Het was in de jaren 80 en de familie die de wijnmakerij had, was ervan overtuigd dat ze geweldige wijnen weer op de kaart konden zetten. Ze besloten om dit unieke erfgoed te behouden.
