Pagodes de Cos Blanc 2024 en Primeur

A vintage with very high acidity, but for my palate this is quite bright and attractive, with good density. Quite long, with creamy guava and green mango flavors that linger in the finish. 61% semillon and 39% sauvignon blanc.

Pale yellow-green, silver reflections. Delicate notes of honeydew melon and gooseberries, a hint of grapefruit zest, subtle hints of pear, inviting bouquet. Fresh structure, white tropical fruit, lemony finish, subtle sweetness on the aftertaste.

As to the two whites, the 2024 Pagodes De Cos Blanc is 61% Semillon and 39% Sauvignon Blanc. It has solid aromatics of ripe citrus, gooseberry, and mint, with medium-bodied richness, racy acidity, and outstanding length. This fresh, juicy, bright white brings ample acidity without leaning too much into the tart end of the spectrum.

Grapefruit and lemongrass aromas with a little honeysuckle and jasmine. Fresh and vibrantly fruity. Despite the assemblage this is very Sauvignon Blanc to taste with juicy rich citrus and lemon verbena on the finish. Lovely this year.
