M9 comes from Abadía San Quirce's highest vineyards, located at 920 metres in Gumiel de Izán. Aged in new French oak to make the most of what Diana Moreno calls the "power" of the 2021 vintage, this is a focused, intense, well-structured Tinto Fino with lots of chalky minerality, black cherry and blueberry fruit and a sheen of sweet spices. 2024-32

James Suckling:

 Blackberries, mulberries, chocolate orange and licorice on the nose. Roasted walnuts, too. It’s flavorful, chewy and full-bodied with firm tannins. Pleasantly rustic. Try in 2024.
