James Suckling:

Green stone fruit, kiwis, gooseberries, star fruit and a touch of cream on the nose. Pure and bright, with a medium to full body and a nice balance of fruit intensity and creaminess with the high acidity. Crunchy and flavorful at the same time. Bright, creamy and very long. 100% sauvignon blanc.

Decanter:

Really varietal apple and peas, elderflower but also with lots of white pear aromatics too. Clean, crisp and sapid. Bright and zesty, relatively sleek and lightweight, but a nice shot of citrus juice with salty edges. You can imagine eating oysters and drinking this. Mouthwatering acidity makes this easy to enjoy. Ageing 50% in new oak barrels.

Falstaff:

Pale green yellow, silver reflections. Inviting nuances of gooseberry, mango and a hint of candied grapefruit zest, white flowers. Taut, white peach, lively, delicate pineapple on the finish, a stimulating food companion. (100% Sauvignon Blanc).

Jeb Dunnuck:

Coming from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2024 Les Hauts De Smith Blanc has bright lemon and pink grapefruit fruit as well as some minty and floral nuances on the nose. These carry to a vibrant, medium-bodied, crisp, yet nicely balanced and textured white that has a distinct salinity on the finish.

Tim Atkin:

Wonderful juicy expression of Sauvignon with greengage and gooseberry. Bright acidity and exuberant fruit due to having avoided the early September rains. Rich expression of Sauvignon, with a lovely skin-phenolic component, and good length.
