Decanter:

Complex aromas of lovely raspberries, sweet spices, tobacco, cedar and vanilla. Full bodied, with firm tannins. Very powerful and warm. (Medalla de plata en los Decanter World Wine Awards).

Tim Atkin:

Made as a joint venture between famous French oenologist Michel Rolland and businessman Javier Galarreta, this is a well-made Tempranillo from Elvillar and Labastida. Fresher and better balanced than it has been in the past, it's an easy-drinking style with violet and fennel top notes, textured tannins and stylish French and American oak. 2025-27. 

James Suckling:

A more elegant expression of Rioja with fine spices, red berries and plums. Juicy and chewy on the palate with medium body and firm tannins. Excellent length. Drink now. (Zekun Shuai)

International Wine Challenge:

Complex and gamey with notes of chocolate, cedar, black cherry and raspberry. Elegant and lively with a long finish. (Medalla de plata en su edición de 2024)
