The Wine Advocate:

A new wine in the Lindes range, the 2021 Viñedos de Briñas comes from vines on stony soils close to the meanders of the Ebro River. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in barrels of different sizes for one year. It's a wine with more character from the Garnacha in the field blend with Tempranillo and others, as it's from one single grower. It has 13.8% alcohol, with contained ripeness and a fine-boned palate that is elegant and polished. 3,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.

Suckling:

Mineral nose with black cherries, violets and mulberries. Juicy and composed on the palate with fine-grained tannins. Good combination of flesh and bones, with lots of fruit and dusty tannins. Long and expressive. Drink now or hold.

Tim Atkin:

Briñas is one of the smaller villages in Rioja in terms of area under vine, so this is a correspondingly bijou cuvée of Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha. Floral and refined, it has impressive elegance, fine-grained tannins and layers of cherry stone, plum and wild strawberry embellished by subtle oak. 2024-30
