Wine Enthusiast:

Deep garnet to the eye, this wine has a bouquet of cassis, black plum and vanilla. A framework of plush tannins supports flavors of blackberry, black cherry and mocha, with hints of anise and mint. Well-integrated acidity and a note of spiced candied orange linger into the enduring finish. 

Decanter:

Huge palate, full of fruit liqueur, oatmeal cookies, dried herbs and sweet spices. Flavours go on and on. Balanced and memorable. Still youthful, too. Much promise here. Bravo!
