Antinori Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Magnum 2018

This is a really beautiful red with cherry, blackberry, violet and chocolate character. Full and layered, yet it remains linear and bright, with an energetic finish. So drinkable now, but better in 2024.

Clear, rich ruby, dark core. Opens with notes of ripe blackberry, some raspberry, delicate liquorice in the background. Shows beautiful playfulness on the palate, fine-meshed tannins that gain more and more drive as the wine progresses, full of plum, deep and dense.
