Expertenbewertungen

James Suckling:

Here is a vivid, bright and agile syrah showing notes of dark cherries, plums, violets and baking spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Vivid center palate with a succulent, juicy finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold.

Tim Atkin:

Carchelo has produced this Syrah from a single vineyard with 12 months in French oak and a further 12 months in bottle before release. It is a very varietal wine with licorice, red berry fruit, cloves and spice. The palate is seductively silky, velvety with the right balance of tannic grip. It offers all the intensity and complexity of Jumilla. 2024 - 2028

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Altico Syrah has a similar profile as the 2022 I tasted next to it, with a little more freshness and some more varietal character. It's ripe and toasty, with a smoky hint, a juicy palate and polished tannins. 6,047 bottles were filled in April 2024.
