Dark hedgerow berries and wild tarragon and thyme aromas, with a balsamic touch. In the mouth it has a chocolatey edge and combines the generosity of Merlot with the depth of Cabernet Sauvignon. A core of ripe, sweet dark cherry and blackberry is balanced by fresh acidity and subtle, chalky tannins. The long finish features some barrel notes and a return of those wild herbs.
