Tim Atkin:

Very sprightly for a 2012 - Martínez Lacuesta specialises in wines that age extremely well - this is a beautifully judged cuvée of Tempranillo, 20% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo from Haro and Villalba. Aromas of autumn leaves and sweet spices segue into a graceful, elegant palate with refreshing minerality and sweet, palate-caressing summer berry flavours. 2025-35.

James Suckling:

Developed, complex and a bit old school in style, with bark, dried citrus, evolved wood spices, dried mushrooms and earthy fruit. Tight, long and savory, with some slightly grainy wood tannins that are still present. Drink or hold. (Zekun Shuai)
