The 2022 Goliardo Caíño fermented destemmed in a 4,600-liter vat and matured in a 1,500-liter oak foudre and 500-liter barrels for 24 months. It has the textbook nose of freshly cracked peppercorns, aromatic herbs and dry rose petals in a very good year for reds, one of the rare occasions when red grapes achieved full maturity but less alcohol than its siblings, 12%, and integrated acidity but still close to eight grams, coming through as harmonious and clean. 2,000 bottles produced.
