The 2018 Icònic is a classical Mediterranean sparkling Cava, a blend of 37% Parellada, 35% Macabeo and 28% Xarel.lo from vines over 20 years of age. It matured for no less than six years in bottle and is sold as brut nature. In reality, Icònic is the new name for their old Gran Reserva Brut Nature, which never had a proper name. It has a nuanced and elegant nose and a fresh and lightish palate. 80,000 bottles produced. - Luis Gutiérrez.
